Hello, and welcome to Life Along the Way! We are so glad you are here and that you want to learn more about us and what we are about.
Our names are Benjamin and Meredith Green and we are the writers, the podcasters, and the video makers around here. If you want to get to know us better, head on over to read our introduction, and then connect with us through social media, comments, or email so that we can get to know you too!
As for this site, it was born when God burdened us to find a way to use the internet for His glory. As we prayed about it and experimented, He has showed us more and more what that can look like and we have been amazed to watch Him work! If you want to learn more about our goals and mission, please read this page about our site.
And finally, if you are wondering what you will find around here, well, we have a lot of different things:
- Blog posts: Our blog posts go up on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and in any given post, you might see encouragement and practical suggestions for living out the Bible, stories from our own lives about lessons we have learned (usually the hard way), and just encouragement to keep seeking after God.
- Videos: Starting in July, we are planning to start putting up some videos that really dive deep into the Bible to find the answers it offers to some tough questions. What does it mean to surrender to Christ? What is God’s design for families? Why does God allow suffering? In these videos we’ll lay out what God Himself has said about these issues in His Word.
- Podcasts: Starting in August, we are planning to start a podcast series in which we chat with different people about what it means to live according to God’s Word in their lives. Depending on who we have with us, we might talk politics, parenting, ministry, going to school, adoption, honoring God in the workplace… There are so many people serving God in such unique ways and we know we’ll be challenged by their stories.
So, that’s us! Feel free to poke around here and see what you see : ) We hope you really do see God at work here, both on the site and in our lives, and we hope you’ll stick around to share your stories with us too.
